FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common questions about Aetherlyn Hosting.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes, completely free with no credit card required. The free tier gives you 2 GB RAM, 100% CPU, and 10 GB disk. It's perfect for small servers or testing.

What Minecraft versions are supported?

We support all major Minecraft versions including the latest releases. You can run Vanilla, Paper, Fabric, Forge, Purpur, and more — just change the server type in your startup settings.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade your server tier at any time from the billing section in your dashboard. Your server data is preserved when you upgrade.

How do I connect to my server?

Once your server is running, the connection address is shown on your server's console page in the format node.aetherlyn.lol:PORT. Copy that into Minecraft's multiplayer menu.

Can I install plugins and mods?

Yes. You have full file manager access through the panel. Upload plugins to the /plugins folder for Paper/Purpur servers, or mods to the /mods folder for Fabric/Forge servers.

What happens if my server crashes?

Our system automatically attempts to restart crashed servers. You can also restart manually from the console page. If issues persist, open a support ticket from your dashboard.

How do I get support?

Open a ticket from the Tickets section in your dashboard. We aim to respond as quickly as possible.
